The token's price rocketed higher upon its debut and then saw some volatile trading over the weekend amid trends for the broader crypto market and investors taking profits on big short-term gains. The cryptocurrency is actually down 10.1% over the last 24 hours of trading as of this writing, but it's clearly gotten off to a strong start.

Trump launched the digital token with branding including an image from his attempted assassination in July, expanding his cryptocurrency interests that already include World Liberty Financial.

Bitcoin reached a new all-time high of $109,036 on Jan. 20, 2025, briefly surpassing its previous record of over $108,000 set in December 2024.

Crypto markets are reeling after a tumultuous 24 hours, with liquidations surpassing $1 billion as Bitcoin fell below $100,000.
